Brick Gentry P.C. traditionally invites a few select individuals to spend the summer at the firm as law clerks and interns.  This season we are delighted to welcome Paige Boyer, Thomas Bush, Kayden Guymon and Katherine Wenman.  Our goal is to provide rising stars with valuable professional experience and insight for the future.  Our firm benefits from their energy and fresh perspectives.

PAIGE BOYER begins her summer clerkship at the invitation of shareholder, David E. Brick.  Paige earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, Tippie College of Business and has now finished her first year at Oklahoma City University Law School.  Paige has transferred to Mitchell Hamline Law School in St. Paul Minnesota, starting in the fall of 2018.  Paige is interested in the area of healthcare law.

THOMAS BUSH is joining us for a second summer as a summer law clerk at the invitation of shareholder, Paul A. Drey.  After obtaining his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, Thomas has now completed his first year of law school at Drake University Law School.  Thomas is interested primarily in the corporate, transactional, commercial, and healthcare areas of law.

KAYDEN GUYMON joins us as a summer law clerk at the invitation of shareholders, Eldon McAfee and Julie Vyskocil.  Kayden grew up in west-central Illinois working on his family’s row-crop and cattle farm.  Initially seeking a career in veterinary medicine, he attended the University of Missouri, completing his bachelor’s degree in animal science in 2016.  Upon being exposed to the ongoing issues/policy changes in the agriculture field, Kayden is pursuing a legal profession in the area of agricultural law.  Kayden has now completed his second year at Drake University Law School.

KATHERINE WENMAN begins her summer internship at Brick Gentry P.C. at the invitation of shareholder, Paul A. Drey.  Katherine is a recent graduate of Creighton University; and this fall, Katherine will be attending the University of Iowa Law School.
